What Is CQB Global Combatives Kids?
CQB Global Combatives Kids has been created and developed by Master Instructor Orkun Ankara.Orkun has focused the class on self protection against bullies and/or attackers, environmental awareness and self discipline in a fun and safe manner which will help your children to gain and develop their self confidence, physical dexterity and mental awareness.
The Childrens classes are run by Maser Instructor Orkun Ankara and Instructor Catherine Jane Harris. Catherine has contributed greatly to the kids program by supplementing her own mixed martial arts experience to compliment in support of Orkun's unique program.
The class begins with motion mobility and agility exercises, followed by Self protection training in a range of simulated combative drills including ground work and closing in a fun way with a game or two.
Orkun has developed his own grading system to help guide the children's development and skill level. There are 6 grading levels starting from white, yellow, orange, green, blue, red and black.
Kids Boxing / kickboxing Classes
Orkun runs his kids boxing / kickboxing class either as a sole class or to be incorporated with your child's CQB Global Combatives classes to enhance their maximum combative protection ability.
Training Age
Beginners Class - from 5 years old - 12 years old
Advanced Class - from 8 years old - 14 years old

Adults CQB Combatives Classes
The adult classes are run by Master Instructor Orkun Ankara based upon his developed concepts of self protection.
The classes consists of body conditioning, combative drills and techniques, ground work, defensive knife concepts, sparring and reality based scenario role plays to put these methods into practice.
Although these classes are predominantly male dominant, Orkun desired to provide a place for female to be able gain maximum training benefit.
Male Dominant / Mixed - Beginners and Advanced - Monday & Wednesday 6pm-7pm

Instructors / Coaches
Catherine Jane Harris
Catherine commenced her training with Master Instructor Orkun Ankara in 2019.
After 3 years of consistent training and dedication to his system, Catherine was awarded her Instructorship by Master Instructor Orkun Ankara. Catherine has trained in various martial arts throughout her life giving her a well-rounded knowledge and skill set which enabled her to be the best candidate for the task.
Murat Ankara
Under the guidance of Orkun Ankara, Murat has trained withing the CQB Global Combatives system since 2010.
Murat has travelled abroad to complete instructorship courses with various combat systems and has assisted Orkun in conducting International Seminars.
Samuel Cuvea
Samuel has been a dedicated student of the CQB Global Combatives system since 2016. Samuel has dedicated his passion and motivation towards the art of Boxing. He has displayed his expertise in boxing tournaments and continues to develop his skills by cross training at other studios.
Boxing / Muay Thai Classes
This is a unique mixed class run by Master Instructor Orkun focusing on the dynamics of Dirty Boxing derived from the south east, combined with western Boxing and Muay Thai. This is an excellent workout on its own or combined with your CQB Global Combatives classes to strengthen and develop your full spectrum of combatives toolbox.

9th of October 2022 - Matthew Flinders Hotel, Chadstone - 'Title Fights War'
Taylan Aslan age 22, represented CQB Global Combatives in his second boxing match; beating his opponent with his second TKO! Taylan made us all proud once again, reflecting clean cut techniques and respectful sportsmanship. Another proud moment for Taylan and his Coach - Orkun Ankara.

16th of September 2022 - West end Market Hotel, Sunshine North - 'Fight Night'
On Friday the 16th of September, Taylan Aslan age 22, represented CQB Global Combatives in his first amateur boxing match where he was able to beat his opponent with confidence resulting in a TKO; reflecting Master Instructor Orkun Ankara's methods.
It was a proud moment for all
